John Cena fans and supporters are very disappointed because his participation in the Royal Rumble 2019 event is doubtful as last week during the RAW show he suffered an ankle injury. The 16-time WWE World Champion and famous actor John Cena reportedly injured his ankle. As per a WWE.com report, he suffered the injury when Drew Mclntyre did an ankle lock and after the match, Cena felt discomfort as he tried to walk. WWE's report also revealed that Cena's injury got aggravated while training.

Talking about the last WWE match, Cena, Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin were fighting it out to earn a title opportunity against Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble. Balor won the match and that paved the way for Cena to the Royal Rumble match. We have to say that he got injured at a very wrong time as he recently made his comeback to WWE and the upcoming Royal Rumble is his pay-per-view event since October 2018. Also, if Cena misses Royal Rumble, he would be absent from WWE circuit for a good long time until Wrestlemania 35.

Also, some reports suggest that he has not really suffered from the injury and can make surprise arrival to the ring to take revenge on McIntyre. To know what will unfold, we have to wait till 27 January 2019, when the event goes live. For the unversed, the mega event of WWE Royal Rumble will take place at Chase Field, Arizona, USA.
