Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are considered one of the iconic onscreen couples of Bollywood. Their fans love to see them together as they think they have the best chemistry. SRK and Kajol have acted together in several films like Baazigar, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name is Khan and Dilwale. Their 1995 release DDLJ is one of the classic Bollywood films and it is still running in the Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai. The film is a love story that is alive and relatable to every generation of lovers.

A flirty and misbehaving guy Raj and a simple yet strong girl Simran meet each other in a train and what starts with nok-jhok turns into a beautiful love story. It's Simran's love that turns Raj into a better human being and well, he fights every obstacle that comes in their way. He fights for his ladylove to win her and impresses almost everyone from her family. Raj isn't someone who believed in eloping with Simran, he wanted to make her his bride with respect, acceptance and blessings of their respective families and that's what he did. When Simran's dad (played by late Amrish Puri) lets her go when disappointed Raj is about to leave in the train, his words 'Ja Simran Ja' are like music to ears of their fans. Simran runs towards the running train and well, we all know the lovers reunite.

We all love how perfect the scene looks onscreen, but in an interview with Huffington Post, when Kajol was asked what were her thoughts while shooting for the Ja Simran Ja and the train scene, she revealed interesting details.

Kajol said, "Honestly, we were worried about the heat and getting cranky, my hair was frizzling out, the train wasn't moving at the right speed that it should have. We couldn't do retakes because the train had to go ahead and come back which would take some 20 minutes. It was a mess. Actually, Raj should have just pulled the chain instead of making me run like a crazy person."

She added, "In hindsight, of course, it's become an iconic scene but I can't take any credit for it. It's all Adi (director Aditya Chopra)."

On the work front, Kajol will be next seen in Helicopter Eela which is slated to release on September 7, 2018.
