Kalank, which is set in 1940's, is a piece of art close to director Karan Johar. The movie starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha among others is all set to release this April and the makers have finally began to unravel the movie from today. The first poster for the movie has been released and shows Varun Dhawan giving out some intense vibes as a kohl eyed and flamboyance oozing Zafar.

While Alia called him a fearless man in love, Karan Johar defined him as someone flirting with love and danger. The movie which is set during the India-Pakistan partition looks like a winner already, according to the Twitter response. As soon as Varun's look as Zafar hit the web, Twitterati has already declared it a blockbuster by calling it 'lit'. Check out a few reactions and let us know what you think about it in the comments section below.

Meanwhile, about Kalank, an emotional Karan Johar posted, "A film that was born in my heart and mind 15 years ago....a film I passionately believe in...the last film my father worked on before he left us....it was his dream to see this film come through....I couldn’t fulfil his dream then....my spirit was broken....but today his wish has found a relationship with celluloid."
