Kangana Ranaut won hearts when she aced her character as Rani in the hit movie Queen. It has been seven years since the movie was released but its memories are still fresh in our minds. For the unversed, Anurag Kashyap co-produced the comedy-drama while Vikas Bahl directed the same. It also featured Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon in pivotal roles. As the movie clocked seven years on March 7, netizens showered praises on it while reminiscing the amazing scenes and story.

Meanwhile, Kangana has penned a heartfelt note for director Vikas Bahl in connection with the same. While sharing a throwback picture with him, she writes, "Vikas sir wherever we may be with our friendship today but I do believe you played a very significant role in shaping my destiny, I enjoyed every minute of our creative partnership and today when I see #7yearsofqueen trending.... I want to say thanks to you. Thank you so much."

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut is currently busy shooting for her upcoming movie Tejas. She recently wrapped up its shooting schedule in Mumbai and will soon be wrapping up the other schedules across various locations of the country. It has been directed by Sarvesh Mewara while Ronnie Screwvala has produced the same. She will also be seen in the biopic Thalaivi which is based on the life of late Tamil Nadu CM J. Jayalalithaa. She will play the role of a spy in the actioner Dhaakad.
