Kangana Ranaut is currently considered the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood. The actor recently stumped everyone with her fierce performance as Rani Laxmibai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. While the actor has in an interview confirmed making a film on her life, she recently in an interview for the third season of Signature Masterclass on Viu revealed that Queen’s script was considered lame earlier. We got our hands on her comment exclusively wherein she said, "Whoever read Queen’s script before they said it was the most-lame script they’d ever seen.”

Kangana also spoke about how the process of the film was different from anything she's ever done before, "Queen was a big party for everyone. The director was a very big producer. He didn’t want anyone to stress over it and wanted everyone to have fun. The process was very unusual and very different from any other set I've been on. It turned out to be very good, but it could've gone the other way as well and the director was prepared for it.  It was a small budget film and nothing was at stake from his end, and even I had nothing to lose as I had no career left,” she shared.

Kangana, in the meantime, has been going all out calling her contemporaries in Bollywood out for not supporting her and her movie. She even took a potshot at Alia Bhatt for not supporting Manikarnika and even asked her “grow spine.” Alia responded to the accusations saying that while she has not intentionally ever tried to hurt Kangana, she did not call for such a harsh comment from her.

Now they are remaking. It won’t work. Remakes work only when there is strong story and script

Yeah, truthfully I bet it and a lot of indie-type films like that look lame on paper. The whole movie is simply "girl finds herself". That's why movies like that are made entirely by the actors. I mean even though I thought Kangana was the best part of Krrish, really anyone can be swapped out in an action film and the overall movie still be cool, but the entire film of Queen would not work without Kangana and supporting cast.

Wonder what they think now - LOL Queen is iconic
