Kangana Ranaut vows to make the sequel 'The legend of Didda' a world class franchise as Manikarnika turns 2

Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi completed 2 years today. As the film achieved a milestone, Kangana promised her fans to make the second part, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda even bigger than the first one.

For fans of Kangana Ranaut, the date today holds a special place as it was on this very day, 2 years ago, her film, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi had released. Today, as the film clocks 2 years, the talented star has expressed her wish to make the sequel of the film even bigger and better than the first part. Kangana, who wowed the audience as the warrior Queen Of Jhansi, is all set to be seen in the second part, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda. As she expressed her elation, Kangana remembered the shoot days of Manikarnika and the memories related to the film. 

Taking to her social media handle, Kangana promised her fans to make the sequel grander than the first part and into a 'world class franchise.' The actress even shared how Manikarnika broke several box office records and was special for her. She recalled that the film even had caused many injuries to her. However, the actress thanked everyone associated with the film and also saluted the heroes of the nation in another tweet. The actress even shared throwback videos of the team of Manikarnika singing the song from the film at an event. 

Sharing a video montage of the film, Kangana revisited the memories of her iconic film. She wrote, "Many called it the best historic film in recent times but we as team Manikarnika promise to make Manikarnika returns the legend of Didda bigger better and a world-class franchise #2YearsofManikarnika #ManikarnikaReturns The Legend of Didda." In another tweet, Kangana claimed that Manikarnika had broken many records and she also shared that during the filming, she was injured several times too. She wrote, "The movie which broke my bones, 20 stitches n two fractures also broke many records. Highest weekend, Highest single day collection, Third highest grosser in the long list of blockbuster woman centric films and also most successful Indian film in Japan."

Meanwhile, just a few weeks back, Kangana announced the sequel and revealed that she will be collaborating with Kamal Jain for Manikarnika Returns that will be based on the queen of Kashmir, Didda. She was the queen who had locked horns with Mehmood Ghaznavi and defeated him twice despite having polio in one leg. Like Jhansi ki Rani, she too is remembered as one of the greatest female warriors of the nation.
