Kangana Ranaut in a recent interview had spoken at length about her preparation for playing the role of political stalwart, J Jayalalithaa in Thalaivi. Kangana said that it was needed so as to look voluptuous, especially around the belly and thighs. Since Kangana is tall and skinny, and her face is angular, not round, she had to take mild doses of hormone pills to look different. On this statement of Kangana, a Twitterati wrote, “And I thought I had heard it all from Kangana. Can someone please just lock this madwoman in a room so she doesn't shoot off her mouth in the most atrocious manner? What is this rubbish?”

She tweeted, “A mild doze of estrogen regular daily pill that most woman take for contraception can increase chances of fat accumulation around belly, arms thighs and hip areas, even if Kangana is mad as all good actors are but why mad people must be locked ? We need to ask ourselves.” In the second tweet she wrote, “Great actors go to great lengths to get in to the character Kangana’s all-time favourite Daniel day Lewis once broke a rib in order to feel the agony of the character, yes it’s crazy but some respect them for their dedication some throw brickbats at them." She added, "Only you can choose which catagory you belong to.... I love this kinda crazy, how about you, please write in comments section."

Singh under their respective banners Vibri Media and Karma Media And Entertainment, Thalaivi is the story is about the life of J. Jayalalithaa, late politician and film actress who served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The movie will release on  26 June 2020.

Much ado about nothing..that being said, frankly the graphics team should also be appreciated, not only Kangana. She must have nailed the younger Jaya role but the obese role is impossible and we get it. Just stop all the fuss now.
