Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi, in which 21 Sikhs fought fearlessly against 10,000 Afghans in 1897. Akshay Kumar has already made its mark with the songs and the teasers that were dropped online. The movie buffs are waiting to see the film on the big screen. Going by the powerful teasers, we can say something very exciting is in store for the viewers. When the much ambitious project of Kesari was announced, it had Karan Johar, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar as its three producers. Salman walked out and the reasons are still unknown to why he decided to quit as a producer.

Akshay Kumar at an event said that it wasn’t feasible. Director Anurag Singh, in a recent interview by Mumbai Mirror, was asked about Salman’s exit. On this, he said, “I am not aware of the discussions that took place behind closed doors. All I know is that one day, I was informed that Salman doesn’t want to be a part of the film anymore” There’s no strong reason to why Salman backed out as a producer for the film. What do you have to say about it?

Akshay plays the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in the film. The film also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. Speaking about the film, Akshay had earlier said, “I’m known for hating wigs, prosthetics and so on, and Kesari is quite demanding. It’s probably my favourite look, though it’s taxing to fight and sweat in this avatar. But I wouldn’t change it for the world."

Kesari is slated to release on March 21. Are you excited to see Akshay in the movie? Let us know in the comments section below!

What else,he is being true to his religion unlike us fools indians.

It paints Muslims as villains thats why he walked out and panders to the BJP

He exited because this was announced by Ajay Devgan first and Karan decided to make the film at a faster pace and release it before Ajay’s. Salman wasn’t aware of this little plan of KJo’s so he walked out as Ajay’s friendship was more important than the few bucks he would make from this movie.

Sikhs must appreciate the Brtish colonization. It helps them a lot.
