Sharing the story of 21 Sikhs battling over 10,000 Afghans, Akshay Kumar’s much awaited film Kesari’s trailer was released on YouTube a while back. Since the time the epic saga’s trailer came out, fans have been raving about the same. Based on a true story, Kesari brings forth the tale of 21 Sikh soldiers were sent to battle against 10,000 Afghans. In the film, Akshay is playing the role of the Havildar Ishar Singh, the leader of the pack of soldiers.
 

In the trailer, we get a glimpse of the courage and valour that led the soldiers to fight the bravest battle. Since the trailer came out, fans went completely crazy over Akshay Kumar's role of a Sikh soldier. Not just the general public, even Bollywood celebs could not control themselves and expressed their opinion about this action-packed trailer. Many took to Twitter and lauded Akshay Kumar’s hard work including Arjun Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana and more.
 

Arjun was blown away by the trailer and wrote, “What a trailer !!! Emotionally uplifting, rooted in Indian culture, full on action mode for @akshaykumar sir after a while... can’t wait for this holi to be #kesari al the best @ParineetiChopra @karanjohar @amarbutala @SunirKheterpal & the leader of the team #anuragsingh !!!.”

Talking about the film, Kesari is helmed by Anurag Singh and also stars Parineeti Chopra. The movie’s shooting wrapped up in December 2018 and the 3-part teaser was released last week. Based on the Battle of Saragarhi, Kesari is a true story and is being produced by Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. It is slated to release on Holi, i.e. March 21, 2019.
