Kannada superstar Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 1 which released in five different languages including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam opened to a huge response and managed to earn pretty good at the box office. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film went on to set a new record at the Karnataka box office. Released along with Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero, this Yash starrer collected around Rs 43-44 crores only in the Hindi version. Well, the audiences are looking forward to the second Chapter of the film and producer Farhan Akhtar, recently, announced about the same. He shared a photo of him with Yash and wrote, “Celebrating the love you all have shown KGF with the rocking @thenameisyash .. here’s looking forward to Chapter 2.”

While we wait to know what’s in the store for the audience with the second part of the film, reports are doing rounds that the makers of the film are planning to cast Sanjay Dutt for an important role KGF: Chapter 2. According to a report in Times Now, Dutt might play an important role in the film. However, there has been no official statement regarding the same by the makers of the film. If reports are anything to go by, Sanjay Dutt and Yash coming together on the big screen is going to be a delightful treat for the audience. For those who don’t know, Dutt is not new to South Indian Cinema. He had played a small role in Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishnan starrer Telugu hit Chandralekha. 

After the success of Chapter 1, Yash took to Twitter and thanked his fans for all the love and response that his film had been receiving. He tweeted, "KGF has brought me closer to a lot of people now. Had a wonderful experience while visiting the theatres in Tirupathi for #KGF! I am overwhelmed by all the love and support from the people there. Truly honoured by the response." 

KGF released in 2,460 screens in India and is the first Kannada film to witness such huge release. Out 2,460 screens, 1,500 are Hindi, 400 are Kannada, 400 are Telugu, Tamil are 100, Malayalam are 60.

Just like Manikarnika nobody from bollywood reviewed or supported kgf. I hope kgf 2 will be a big movie in Hindi.
