Made In China Trailer OUT: Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy’s film showcases the magic of ‘India Ka Jugaad’

Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani and Gajraj Rao starrer Made In China’s trailer was just dropped on YouTube. Directed by Mikhil Musale, the film promises to be a comedy film with a social message that is the story of triumph. Check it out.

Over the past few days, Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy had been sharing posters of their upcoming film, Made In China. Today, after a long wait, the trailer of Made In China has been dropped on YouTube and the film promises to take you on a ride that showcases the magic of ‘India Ka Jugaad’ in a foreign country. Rajkummar will be seen playing a failed Gujarati businessman who gets an opportunity to head to China to make it big in life. 

The trailer showcases the journey of Raghu Mehta, a failed Gujarati businessman and his wife, Rukmini. The story will show how Raghu and his ‘jugaadu’ Indian ways lead him to a once in a lifetime business opportunity to grow and expand his business in China. The trailer opens with Paresh Rawal advising Rajkummar, a young businessman, to find the key to satisfy his customers and that way, he will make profits. Later, Raghu aka Rajkummar discovers a once in a lifetime opportunity in China in the form of a 'soup' that would solve all erectile problems in Men. Post that, Raghu decides to team up with Boman Irani and his success story begins.

About the film, the producer Dinesh Vijan told IANS, “What I love about 'Made in China' are the characters! You are so easily drawn to each one of them, that it makes the film more endearing. when we took the script to all four of the actors, we received an instant nod.” For the film, Rajkummar gained weight, spoke to the local Ahmedabad shopkeepers and spent a lot of time in the city to pick up nuances for his character.

It also stars Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani, Sumeet Vyas, Amyra Dastur, Manoj Joshi and Gajraj Rao. Directed by Mikhil Musale, the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s production house. Initially, the film was supposed to be released in August 2019. However, it was postponed. Now, Made In China will release on Diwali, i.e, October 25, 2019, with two other films Saand Ki Aankh and Housefull 4.
