Think of the most evergreen films of Bollywood and the list will be incomplete without mentioning Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor starrer Ram Lakhan. Directed by Subhash Ghai, the 1989 release depicted the story of two brothers played by Anil and Jackie and their difference in ideologies. The film is loved for its stellar star-cast, brilliant acting and for music. Today, Ram Lakhan has completed 32 years of its release. And to celebrate the milestone, the film’s leading lady Madhuri went down memory lane.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the Dhak Dhak girl shared a collage that comprises of a colourful and a monochrome photo. In the collage pictures, the entire team of the film can be seen posing together for the happy click. Sharing it, Madhuri wrote, “Celebrating #32YearsOfRamLakhan & the wonderful memories we made while working on the film. Thank you for watching, enjoying & loving the hard work of the entire team.” The first picture shows Madhuri, Anil, Jackie, Subhash Ghai, Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Gulshan Grover sitting on a couch and posing together. 

Notably, the black and white photo is from the shoot days and shows the entire cast including Dimple Kapadia, Rakhee, Amrish Puri and Saeed Jaffrey.

In an interview with The Times of India, Jackie Shroff recently opened up about the success of Ram Lakhan and asserted that he "feels good to be associated with the film". He was quoted saying, “One word that comes to my mind, when I recall the film today is 'Iconic'. It is one of the best films of my career. The film has all the masala in it. It has drama, romance, comedy, emotions, tragedy, affection and a lot more.”
