Thugs of Hindostan is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, the trailer of the film created an uproar on social media when it was released. The first song of the film, Vashmalle, was released among much frenzy by Yash Raj Films on Tuesday. The track features Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s macho bromance during an upbeat occasion of merriment. Crooned by Sukhwinder Singh and Vishal Dadlani, with music by Ajay-Atul and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song is sure to make everyone tap their feet. The video of the song has been choreographed by Prabhudeva.

Now the makers have released the making of the song and it is as exciting as the song itself. The making shows Aamir and Amitabh high on energy even during their rehearsals. Talking about Vashmalle, Aamir says, "Vashmalle is a dream song for me! It’s like me who has always wanted to work with Mr Bachchan and its finally getting to do a song with him.”

Talking about the song, Amitabh Bachchan says, “Because it’s a period film, I am happy that the music directors were not just able to bring the kind of tunes that we may have heard during the 40s or 50s, but were also be able to bring in instrumentation, which is representative of that period".

The makers also talk about the location where the song has been shot. The location in Thailand where the song was initially thought to be shot was a cave with rocks up and down with almost 500 snakes. So, the location was replicated. Big B also talks about Prabhudeva’s extraordinary dancing skills and says he needed to rehearse for the song more than others. He also recalls the crew going crazy while shooting with the steps.
