Malaika Arora is the queen of item songs and it is quite difficult to take that tag away from her. And now, adding another feather to her list, Malaika Arora has been roped in by Vishal Bhardwaj for a sizzling song in his upcoming film Pataakha. Vishal Bhardwaj has already lit a few fireworks with the trailer of the movie and now with Malaika Arora featuring in an item song, it will surely be a bomb explosion.

As quoted by Mumbai Mirror, “Vishal needed a no-holds-barred song at a village fair and who better than Malaika to pull it off. She has the earthy sensuality needed for the song and is known to burn up the dance floor with her moves. Even though it’s a desi number, like his earlier special appearance tracks, this one too should strike a chord with everyone, and will be playing in discotheques and dandiyas soon.” The song will be penned by Gulzar and sung by Rekha Bhardwaj.

The film is based on Charan Singh Pathik’s short story titled Do Behnein, Pataakha is a comedy-drama revolving around the lives of two feuding sisters who realize the true nature of their relationship when they are separated after marriage.

In the past, Malaika Arora has dished out some interesting and foot-tapping items songs and we can’t wait to dance on this one. Here is a list of item songs that featured Malaika Arora, take a look!

The only reason they included an item song with Malaika in it is to try to win over some of the masala audience and get them to the theatres. I don't mind it to be honest if the song is as good as a Beedhi Jalele from Omkara.

All she does is item numbers and hang out with nepo kids.

There is a no need for a item song in this movie.. as usual just for the patriarchal society...

If they're calling in Malaika, it's gonna be a good one.

you forgot Fashion Khatam Mujhpe from Dolly Ki Doli (2015)
