Remember when Manushi Chhillar made the nation proud by winning the Miss World title in 2017? The proud moment had left the entire nation in a celebratory mode. Interestingly, the nation once again witnessed a similar gush of happiness when Uttar Pradesh’s Manya Singh was titled as Miss India runner up 2020. To note, Manya happens to be the daughter an auto rickshaw driver in Uttar Pradesh and her achievement is inviting appreciation from all walks of life. And now Manushi has also lauded Manya’s triumph.

Speaking about the same, the former beauty queen stated that she is extremely proud of Manya and even sent her best wishes to the lady. She also emphasised that Manya’s triumph has once again proved that no challenge is impossible if one is determined to make the dreams come true. “With determination in your mind and your dream held in constant sight, there’s no challenge that cannot be overcome. Manya’s story will always stand as a true testament to this fact. Heartfelt congrats to you, Manya Singh, we’re so proud of you,” she added.

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Manushi will soon be making her big Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films Prithviraj opposite Akshay Kumar. This isn’t all. The former beauty queen will also be sharing the screen space with Vicky Kaushal in another YRF project. “Manushi has definitely been signed on opposite Vicky in the YRF comedy. This project is part of YRF Project 50 and we expect the announcement to happen soon. Manushi is definitely the debutant to keep an eye on because she has bagged two very big films – Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj and Vicky's next with YRF. She is being groomed by Aditya Chopra for a while now and has shown immense potential. Manushi landed the two films completely on her own merit,” a source exclusively told Pinkvilla.

Anonymous : i'm aghast that in 2021 we still have beauty pageants. besides being regressive AF, you can literally buy beauty via surgery so what even is the point?

Anonymous : Do u even know what is a beauty peagant? Because if u did, u would have known THE MOST BASIC (IF U DON'T KNOW THIS U DON'T KNOW THE MEANING OF PEAGANT) That physical beauty has got to do NOTHING AT ALL with the peagants, its about the walk & talk, compassion, talent, and wisdom... People with the mentality like yours still live in the past era where beauty was defined by some pre decided rules like fair skin and all... Grow up, ur living in the time where talent is considered beautiful
