Famous Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman is best known for his iconic role of Logan aka Wolverine in X-Men series. He played the role for not one or two but 16 long years before finally hanging up his claws in the 2017 movie Logan. And now, latest reports suggest that Marvel Head Kevin Feige is looking for a new actor who can replace him. For the unversed, Disney and Fox (who own the rights of X-Men) are having a merger and Disney will come up with new X-Men movies in the future.

Hugh Jackman has already denied that he won't reprise the role of Logan and wants a new actor to take up the claws in the MCU. "The character will go on, he had said. “Someone else will play it, for sure. [He insisted he was a peace with that].”

And now, X-Men's producer Lauren Shuler Donner confirmed that Marvel Studios Head Feige is on the lookout for a new Wolverine aka Logan  “Yes. I don’t know what Kevin’s thinking honestly. “I don’t even think Kevin knows. I think Kevin’s still dealing with this wealth of characters and trying to make sense of them," she told Slash Films.
“Obviously, Kevin and I started the first [X-Men movie]. He worked for me. He’s got a great story sense.I trust him and I trust that he will take care of the X-Men," she added. While X-Men is all set to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans should not expect X-Men heroes to feature in upcoming Marvel movies such as Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel as the merger deal is still going on. Talking about the franchise, two movies are lined up for release are X-Men: Dark Phoenix and New Mutants.
