Mission Mangal: Akshay Kumar & Taapsee Pannu are elated as the film inspired a kid to become a space scientist
There is no bigger success for an actor than to see that his/her film leaving an impact on the future generations and the same happened to Taapsee Pannu and Akshay Kumar when they learnt that Mission Mangal has inspired a young child to become a space scientist. Yes, a Twitter user by the name of Aparajitha, tweeted to the cast of Mission Mangal- Vidya Balan, Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu, among others to thank them for inspiring her son to become a space scientist. She wrote, “Mission Mangal is a movie which inspired my 7 year old son, who wants to be a space scientist after seeing the movie & has now came out with a design of his new project Mangalyaan 3. @akshaykumar @vidhya_balan @isro @taapsee @sonakshisinha.”
Soon after, an elated Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to reply to the mother as he wrote, “This is amazing! Glad to know about this future scientist and learn about his Mission Mangal. Wishing him all the very best.” Moreover, Taapsee Pannu, too replied to the mother as she wrote that there is no bigger success than this. “This is beyond words! Not a bigger success than this,” Taapsee said in the tweet. Talking about Mission Mangal, which clashed at the box office with John Abraham’s Batla House, is refusing to slow down because as we speak, the film has raked in Rs 113 crores.
Mission Mangal was based on a true story of India's mission to Mars, and the film celebrated the dream of ordinary people achieving the extraordinary feat. Directed by Jagan Shakti, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, and others as scientist.
