Mumbai Saga song Danka Baja: John Abraham, Kajal Aggarwal pray to Bappa in a upbeat track apt for Ganeshotsav

The audience is waiting to see actors John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi together on the screen for the first time in the film Mumbai Saga. The team is already gearing up for its release. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film will be released in the theatres on March 19, 2021. And ahead of its official release, the makers have released the song Danka Baja today. The teaser of the song has been unveiled and it is set around the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

Sharing the link of the song on Twitter, Emraan Hashmi wrote, “Ab intezaar hua khatam! #MumbaiSaga ka Danka Bajega Ab Chaaron taraf Drum Ganpati Bappa Morya.” The song shows Kajal Aggarwal and John Abraham praying to Lord Ganesha while there is a celebration going on. The song also gives a glimpse of Emraan Hashmi dressed in police uniform. Apart from John, Kajal and Emraan, the film also stars Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani and Gulshan Grover.

In the film, John portrays the role of a gangster who aspires to rule Bombay, while Emraan plays the role of a cop who wants to kill John and win the prize money of Rs 10 crore.

The John and Emraan starrer Mumbai Saga was nearly sold to an OTT platform for a lucrative deal, but later on, the makers changed their decision and thought of a theatrical release instead. Mumbai Saga is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anuradha Gupta and Sangeeta Ahir.
