Priyanka Chopra has produced multiple regional films and Marathi film Paani under Purple Pebble Productions was another great addition to her list. Purple Pebble Productions is co-owned by PeeCee and mother Madhu Chopra, and together, they aim at producing films that make a difference and at the same time scout for new talent. Now, the movie has won at the 66th National Film Awards for under the category of Environment conservation.

Priyanka's official Instagram handle tweeted, "It’s a National Award win for @priyankachopra and @purplepebblepictures. Their second Marathi film #PAANI has bagged the Best Film on Environment Conservation at the 66th #NationalFilmAwards. Kudos to the entire team." This indeed is a great achievement, especially because it deals with a topic that needs to be spoken about, and also, it is through such films that a lot of awareness can be spread.

The actress told earlier in one of her interviews, "There are many stories that reflect the realities of the world we live in and I believe it's very important to showcase them and bring that message to more people in a way that they can connect with. Paani is one such story and we're looking forward to working with Adinath."
