Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda has been among the most talked about kids in the industry. The diva is yet to make her debut in Bollywood, but she is already going places with her impressive fashion statements. And while the lady is already a star on social media with fans eagerly waiting for her big Bollywood debut, Navya recently made the headlines for her recently launched Project Naveli which is amping up her fight against gender inequality across the country.

Recently in an interview with Vogue, Navya shared her views about gender inequality and her project and it is grabbing a lot of attention. She stated, “I want to use the resources, people, privilege and platforms that I have to spread awareness and bring change. Studying abroad, I found the women there far more emancipated. I want women in India to feel the same way, to be given similar opportunities. I want them to be masters of their own destiny and take charge of their own lives. I've grown up around working women in my family—it's all I've known. To bring that change, you have to start with education and financial independence. That's where Project Naveli comes in.”

Navya, who is determined to make a difference in the society, further added, “This is something that can be achieved if we, as a whole, as a society, as women, as a nation, come together to make this a reality. However, my primary goal with this initiative is to offer opportunities and resources to women that will allow for economic and social empowerment, providing them with the right tools and access to lead healthier lives, enter the workforce, be independent, and so much more”.

Interestingly, Deepika Padukone is in awe of Navya’s views and couldn’t stop lauding the lady. In fact, she even dropped an emoji with hearts in the eyes on the post.

Meanwhile, Navya is also grabbing a lot of attention for her personal life as there are rumours about her love affair with Jaaved Jaaferi’s son Meezaan Jafri. However, Jaaved rubbished the news and stated that Navya and Meezaan are mere friends.

She needs to study the gender inequality problem in Abroad before making such statements. India has women in every fields in top positions unlike US which just had its first woman VP. In India, girls are considered high achievers academically unlike US. A bit of research will get her the details. These people like to cry Indian women are backward compared to the ones abroad nonsense.
