Born and brought up in Ambala, Parineeti Chopra made her acting debut with a short but impactful role in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and followed that up with Ishaqzaade. In the last nine years, the actress has shot at several parts of India, however, she never got the chance to film at her home town. There were times when she wanted to shoot in Ambala, but things didn’t materialize. It seems that her dream is finally turning into a reality now.

A source reveals, “Parineeti is headed to Ambala for a brief span to shoot for a brand campaign. It’s the first time that she would be shooting in there, and she is ecstatic about the development. The actress will be in Ambala for a brief period, but plans to spend quality time with her family and is excited to meet all of them.”

Right after the brief visit to Ambala, she returns to Mumbai to start the promotions of her upcoming film, The Girl on The Train. The thriller premieres on Netflix soon, and the platform is gearing up for a campaign before it’s release towards the end of this month. The film is based on the Paula Hawkins novel of the same name, and is said to be a performance driven psychological thriller. “She will be shooting and spending limited time with her family due to the prior commitments of film promotions in Mumbai,” the source signed off.

Apart from The Girl on The Train, Parineeti also has the Amole Gupte directed, Saina Nehwal biopic under her kitty, which is gearing up for a release soon. Towards the middle of 2021, she begins shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, which pairs her alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
