India has had a hot and cold relationship when it comes to Hollywood movies being remade in Bollywood. While there are some amazing adaptations and remakes over the past years, Bollywood has also missed the mark at a few occasions. B-Town is taking a chance yet again by remaking Emily Blunt starrer The Girl on the Train. The thriller, which blew movie lovers' minds at the time of its release, is being remade in Hindi with Kesari actress Parineeti Chopra in the lead.

The original movie was an adaptation of a book with the same titled penned down by Paula Hawkins. The Hollywood movie saw Emily Blunt portray the role of "The Girl on the Train." The movie also starred Justin Theroux, Rebecca Ferguson and Luke Evans, in pivotal roles.

The movie followed the tale of a recent alcoholic divorcee who spent most of her time fantasising about a perfect couple who lived in a beautiful house she saw during her train commutes. A series of events involving the couple she fantasised about take place and her life takes an ugly turn.

It would be interesting to see how Parineeti Chopra makes the role her own and brings the Hindi remake to life. Variety reports that the movie will be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. The filmmaker has worked on movies like Amitabh Bachchan starrer Te3n and Micheal featuring Naseeruddin Shah.

She will not be able to do justice to the role. End up doing over-acting. Should have been Taapsee or Radhika Apte.

who will play the couple? the American version had lots of sex scenes, hopefully they will cast a hot guy for the male role and show high quality +18 scenes, just don't listen to the CBFC and JUST DO IT

Jabariya Jodi, Saina, a Girl on the Train remake, Parineeti is back in the game and most importantly NO RAT FACE ALIA, hope all movies are box office success

a movie where Alia is not part off:) today is a good day indeed

Radhika Apte would have been a better choice. Parineeti has only 2-3 generic expressions.

Oh come on. This is the perfect movie for the older women if you've read the book. Even Emily Blunt was too young. Rachel, the main character, is very a slovenly alcoholic older divorcee. This would be perfect for Rani, Kajol, Aish, even Kareena. Parineeti and all these girls you are listing would be better suited for the supporting role, she's obviously younger.

Aish is busy sending PR articles about Salman
Rani is busy destroying YRF with her unneccery advice for her husband on how to manage the company
Kajol is busy spending her husband money
Kareena is lazy and too busy with photoshoots, vacations and going to London for her cosmetic producers and most important gossip and more gossip
Parineeti congragulation and good luck

hahahahaha such epic shade

Sara Ali Khan would have been a better choice

the story as a whole is great that can be changed in so many different ways for a Hindi remake as a crime thriller..hope Parineeti works hard to give justice to the role

so happy for Parineeti, this kind of roles is what she needs to do:)

the American adaptation didn't get great reviews but Emily Blunt performance was prised, its a very complicated charter and the novel was success....this could be probably a career changing role for Parineeti, this is a challenging role that requires Parineeti to give her 100% in acting and showing diffrent emotions...hopefuly Parineeti will utilize this chance and work hard on her acting and shows a different new side to her, best of luck pari

There original cinematic adaptation is not very good, and neither is the pitch for this Bollywood attempt. I cannot connect on whether or not Parineeti is a good choice or not but I'm more interested to see this take than ever considering to watch the Blunt version ever again.

She is a better representation of India and Bollywood than Alia. And she will be able to give interviews without being an embarassment

Take Kriti Sanon. Parineetis career is over

It's perfect time to make some plans for the long
run and it is time to be happy. I've read this publish and if I may I want to suggest you few fascinating things or suggestions.
Maybe you could write subsequent articles regarding this article.
I desire to read even more issues approximately it!카지노
