Parineeti Chopra kicks off shooting for The Girl On the Train remake; says 'I feel like I’m in a hostel'

Parineeti Chopra is all set to start shooting for the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film, The Girl On the Train. The actress shared a picture from the sets and promised her fans to share her first look soon. Take a look.

A Hollywood film that has been a superhit globally is Emily Blunt’s The Girl On The Train. The Hindi remake of the same stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead. The announcement about the same came a while back and today, Parineeti kicked off the shooting for the same in London. Parineeti had been promoting her upcoming release, Jabariya Jodi from the last few weeks. Now, the actress has switched modes and is gearing up for the shooting of the mystery film, The Girl on the Train remake. 

As Parineeti geared up to step into the shoes of her new character, she took to Instagram to share a photo from the sets in London. While the star assured that this is not her first look from the film, Pari also stated that the film is surely a new experience for her. In the photo, Parineeti can be seen enjoying the breeze of the new city as she strikes a pose. Clad in a pair of black jeans with a beige cardigan and black shoes, Parineeti looked absolutely gorgeous.

She captioned the photo as, “So. We’ve started shooting for #GirlOnTheTrain in London. Its my MOST difficult role to date; I feel like I’m in a hostel, with no time (or headspace) for social media or chilling or doing anything else. Its a new experience for me - being cut off from everything and everyone else... Will share the first look soon. This picture was the only “timepass” I’ve done on set so far.”

The Girl On The Train Hindi remake also stars Kirti Kulhari and Aditi Rao Hydari. It is being helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta and is the official adaptation of the 2016 thriller film which starred Emily Blunt in the lead role. The film will have Parineeti play the role of a divorced alcoholic. Kirti Kulhari will be seen as a cop in the film and she spoke about the same in an interview to Mumbai Mirror. Kirti mentioned that she will be training in Kickboxing for her role and is extremely excited for the same. Meanwhile, Parineeti’s next release is Jabariya Jodi with Sidharth Malhotra which is all set to release on August 9, 2019.
