Parineeti Chopra wishes The Girl on the Train alum Emily Blunt: You gave me the inspiration to do something
Parineeti Chopra is awaiting the release of her upcoming film The Girl on the Train. The Hollywood version of the movie featured Emily Blunt.
Parineeti Chopra has earned praise owing to her stint in The Girl on the Train. The official trailer of the movie has been released a few days back and it was her acting which won everyone’s hearts in no time. For the unversed, the mystery thriller is an official adaptation of the Hollywood movie of the same name featuring Emily Blunt. For the uninitiated, Parineeti has stepped into Emily’s shoes for the Hindi version of the critically acclaimed movie.
Emily Blunt turns a year older today and among the first people to wish the actress was none other than Parineeti herself. She penned a heartfelt note on Twitter which reads, “Happy bday #EmilyBlunt! You gave me the inspiration (and many sleepless nights) to do something I never had the guts to do before. Thank you for being the voice in my head when I was shooting. I hope I have done even 10% of what you did in #TheGirlOnTheTrain. Big shoes to fill.”

Talking about The Girl on the Train, it has been directed and produced by Ribhu Dasgupta. Apart from Parineeti Chopra, the movie also features Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, Avinash Tiwary, and others in pivotal roles. The movie will be released on Netflix. Apart from the mystery thriller, Parineeti will also be seen in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which co-stars Arjun Kapoor. The black comedy-drama has been directed by Dibakar Banerjee and is scheduled to release on March 19, 2021.
