Priyanka Chopra is all geared up for her comeback Hindi film -- The Sky Is Pink. Starring opposite Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf, the actress is naturally excited and looking forward to the film's premiere tonight at the Toronto International Film Festival. Taking to Instagram, Priyanka also shared a video of all the early reviews the film has received from across the globe. In a first, Priyanka is also co-producing a Hindi film and the actress reveals that she decided to do it with this movie because it was a story she wanted to tell.

Talking about her return to the big screen after almost 3 years, Priyanka told IMDb, "To do a film like this, you need time to prep and time to get to it. So, I couldn't do a movie and specially a Hindi movie. I was really looking for an immersive experience as an actor, and in any kind of movie, whether it was in America or India. And when this (TSIP) came along, it struck on so many levels for me and checked so many boxes that I just knew it had to be done."

Ahead of the film's premiere tonight at TIFF, co-star Farhan Akhtar is also equally excited as he shared a boomerang with the team from their filming days. Directed by Shonali Bose, The Sky Is Pink is based on the family of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who died in 2015 at the age of 18 after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. It is slated to release on October 11, 2019.
