Priyanka Chopra's mum REVEALS why brother's wedding to Ishitaa Kumar was mutually called off last minute

Priyanka Chopra's brother Siddharth Chopra was scheduled to tie the knot with girlfriend Ishitaa Kumar in the last week of April. However, things between the couple went south and mum Madhu Chopra confirmed exclusively to Pinkvilla a few days ago that the wedding had been called off. Well, now mum Madhu Chopra revealed why the wedding was cancelled at the last minute. Speaking to entertainment portal SpotBoyE, Madhu Chopra said, "My son Siddharth said he was not ready for marriage yet. He explained he needed more time." A source also told the portal that "this arranged marriage was being pushed a bit in haste".
Madhu had earlier told Pinkvilla, "They (Siddharth and Ishita) have mutually called it off." However, remained tight-lipped about the reason. Rumours were rife that the bride-to-be's emergency surgery was one of the reasons for the delay in the wedding. Well, it looks like it was not just one reason but multiple reasons that has led to the wedding being called off. Ishita has also deleted all her pictures from the Roka ceremony on Instagram.
Reportedly, in 2014, Siddharth was engaged to his then girlfriend Kanika Mathur. The couple had even planned a destination wedding in Goa the following year but cancelled it last minute. Just a few days ago, Ishitaa took to Instagram to share a picture of herself with the caption, "Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings."
