The entire nation is currently mourning the death of those 49 CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) personnel and everyone is raging in anger over the Pulwama bombing. Many actors took to social media to pay their respects to the families of those martyred, and in fact, Amitabh Bachchan also announced that he will be donating Rs 5 lakh each to the families of those martyred. Everyone from the entertainment industry has expressed their anger over the attack, and now comes this poem by Ayushmann Khurrana.

Ayushmann put words to the pain that everyone feels, and penned down an emotional poem expressing his solidarity for those who lost their lives in the name of the nation. The poem, a dedication to the families, spoke about how the army men fight for the peace of the families, and while they fight and lose their lives, it is a life long fast for those mothers, while their kids, still tell to themselves how their fathers are still with them.

On the work front, Ayushmann has had a mind-blowing 2018, with two great films, Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun. He is currently shooting for Dream Girl, and the actor is being loved by the fans for his constant performance. Asked if his choices of film gives him a sense of validation, the actor said, "It has been happening for the past two years that both my movies (Shubh Mangal Savdhaan and Bareilly Ki Barfi in 2017) released simultaneously and both did well. I think, yes, you are right, it validated my choices, to begin with, my sensibilities, irrespective of the initial hiccups I faced post Vicky Donor. I always believed in those scripts and I am glad these are working. This is the new trend we faced, in 2017, especially in 2018 where we have overused the word 'content is the king'. But it is nice to back such scripts, to be a part and helm such scripts which are very unique and are clutter breaking."
