A bevy of Bollywood celebrities arrived at the Kapoor family residence on Tuesday to pay their last respects to Rajiv Kapoor who passed away due to a cardiac arrest. One of them was actor Shah Rukh Khan who arrived in the evening at the Kapoor residence. SRK was snapped stepping out of his car as he greeted the family.

Just before SRK could arrive, Ranbir Kapoor's girlfriend and actress Alia Bhatt also arrived at the residence. Alia was vacationing in the Maldives with her friends. However, the actress seems to have cut short her holiday as she rushed back to Mumbai on Tuesday. Take a look at SRK's photos at the Kapoor residence below:

Rajiv Kapoor passed away at the age of 58 due to massive cardiac arrest and was rushed to a hospital by brother Randhir Kapoor. The latter told TOI, "I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him."

Neetu Kapoor also confirmed the news on social media as she shared his photo captioning it 'RIP'. Netizens flooded social media as they remembered Rajiv Kapoor for his work in films like Ram Teri Ganga Maili. Celebs like Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt also took to social media to mourn the demise of Rajiv Kapoor.

Only 20 persons were allowed for SSR's funeral due to pandemic and lockdown restrictions. His demise was in June 2020 , so pl stop such nonsensical comparisons.
