Rajkummar Rao has had a successful year with his movies performing well at the box office. Not just that, his movie Newton has even been nominated to go to the Oscars.
The actor, whose last release Shaadi Main Zaroor Aana, opened to mixed reviews last Friday, is currently gearing up for his upcoming web series Bose Dead/Alive.
However, amidst this, there were rumours that with his films doing well, he has apparently hiked his fee. When a leading daily asked Raj about this, he said, "I have no idea about this. You have to ask my team. I don’t work for money anyway, so I don’t know where this is coming from.”
Raj, who will be sharing the screen space with his girlfriend Patralekha in the web series, was also asked about his marriage plans with her lady love. To this, he said, "Not right now. Both of us want to focus on our respective careers, and we’re not thinking about it. Marriage will happen for sure — but I don’t know when.”
Currently, Raj is busy with Fanney Khan wherein he will be seen sharing screen space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor. However, Raj suffered a knee injury just recently and has been advised to rest.
Following this, it was revealed that Aishwarya and Anil will continue shooting for their solo portion till Raj joins them. As per a leading tabloid, the leads Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be shooting for their solo portions by the time Rajkummar recovers.
Earlier, when the producer of Fanney Khan, producer Prernaa Arora was asked about the same, she stated, "We learnt about the mishap on Sunday and the schedule will be changed accordingly. We will resume work on Rajkummar's portions as soon as he recovers as he has combination scenes with both Anil sir and Aishwarya. Our earlier plan was to wrap up by November. Now, we will know on Tuesday how much time he will need to recover. For now, we will finish the solo portions with Anil sir, Aishwarya and the other actors. So the shooting is not delayed."
