After the path-breaking success of Stree, Rajkummar Rao has started working on his next subject, Made In China. Directed by Mikhil Musale, the film also stars Mouni Roy and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. The film will be Irani's third association with Vijan's Maddock Films after Being Cyrus and Cocktail.

Rajkummar took to Twitter and shared the release date and wrote, “A new beginning. #MadeInChina starts filming today. Mark the date, releases on August 15, 2019! #DineshVijan @PVijan @Roymouni @bomanirani @MusaleMikhil @MaddockFilms.”

Interestingly, Made In China is scheduled to release on August 15, 2019. It’s clashing with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra. Made In China will see Rao play a struggling Gujarati businessman and chronicle his journey to the top. The film, therefore, will be shot in Ahmedabad and China. Speaking about the film, Vijan had earlier said, "Raj is a versatile and highly credible actor. He has done a fabulous job in Stree. When he was working on that film, we narrated this concept to him and let’s just say he refused to let it go!"

Mouni Roy, who is also sharing the screen with Rajkummar Rao for the first time, was all praises for the actor. "I think Rajkummar is a tremendous actor and I have always looked up to his work. I can't wait to start working with him. I am even more ecstatic to be a part of Maddock Films," Mouni Roy, said in a statement.

I love Ranbir but I hope Brahmastra flops. I can't stand the PR of Ranbir- Alia's fake relationship. They are only filming Part 1 and so much news. Imagine what will happen if they make part 2 and part 3. It will be a decade of Ranbir- Alia's drama. I just hope that it flops so now one has to through through that shit. Audience be spared.

One and only rajkumar rao

Rajkumar Rao doesn't need Kjo to succeed, he is a talented guy who is doing great work,

They are using the clash for publicity. They will end up delaying it.

People who are commenting for Rajkumar rao's film will only be the audience of that film. Miracle (Stree) happens but not everytime.

Go away KJo

Lol, Brahamastra is so screwed. Everyone thought it looked bad in the first place with how much they are over-PR-ing it with Ranbir-Alia. No one thought Stree would be a superhit, I didn't. One-two years now, Karan will be groveling at Rajkumar's feet like with SRK and forget the starkids once more.

I like alia but can't deny the fact that rk alia facade has just made me want brahmasahtra to flop badly and now m sure it will flop.:) Kjo will Begg for Rajkumar rao soon;)

Definitely going for Raj Kumar Rao

Definitely watching made in China!

Made in China will shatter the other one
