Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's untitled rom com with Luv Ranjan locks theatrical release on Holi 2022

After a long wait, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor began filming last month for Luv Ranjan's next film. Now, the release date has been locked and Ranbir, Shraddha's rom-com will arrive in theatres on Holi next year.

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's untitled rom com with Luv Ranjan locks theatrical release on Holi 2022

It was last month that Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor began shooting for their film with director Luv Ranjan and today, the official release date of the film has been announced. Ranbir and Shraddha starrer romantic-comedy is all set to release on March 18, 2022, i.e on Holi next year. The film shoot kicked off last month in New Delhi with Shraddha and Ranbir making their way to the capital city for the same. Shraddha too announced the news on her social media handles.

Taking to her social media handle, Shraddha retweeted the post by the production house's handle. The tweet announced the official theatrical release date of the film and left Ranbir, Shraddha fans excited. The film also stars Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor and for it, Boney had to be convinced to come on board. Reportedly, in the film, Boney plays Ranbir's father. The actors shot till the beginning of February, after which they were seen making their way back to Mumbai.

Shraddha Kapoor also spoke up about working with Ranbir in a recent chat with Bollywood Life. She expressed that whatever she had heard about him turned out to be true after working with Ranbir in the first schedule. She called him an ‘amazing co-star’ in her chat with the entertainment portal. Meanwhile, fans have been excited to see this fresh pairing on screen in 2022. Ranbir and Shraddha have never been a part of a film prior to Luv Ranjan's film. It is helmed by Luv Ranja. It is produced by Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg and presented by Gulshan Kumar & Bhushan Kumar.
