Ranbir Kapoor continues to shoot in Manali for Alia Bhatt co starrer Brahmastra despite a sprained shoulder

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt headed to Manali a day back to shoot for another schedule of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Despite a shoulder injury, Ranbir will continue to shoot the film for the next 15 days.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s first film together, Brahmastra continues to be the talk of the town. The film’s shoot has been going on from quite some time and Alia & Ranbir’s relationship also developed on the sets of the film. Now, as another schedule kicked off in Manali a day back, Alia and Ranbir were seen leaving from Mumbai airport yesterday. However, Ranbir’s shoulder was being supported by a sling indicating an injury. Now, as per the latest report, the Sanju actor will continue to shoot despite his shoulder injury. 

As per a report in Mid-Day, the star had sustained an injury to his shoulder while playing his Sunday football. The Sanu actor had sprained his shoulder while playing and later spent the night with Alia and cousin Armaan Jain for his birthday. Post that, Alia and Ranbir headed to Manali to begin another shooting schedule of Brahmastra. The 15-day schedule had to kick off with some action scenes. However, Ayan pushed those to the end of the schedule to give Ranbir some healing time.

Ranbir is expected to shoot from Tuesday onwards. A source quoted to the daily, “Ranbir rested it out yesterday while Ayan shot some key sequences with the rest of the cast. He is expected to start filming from Tuesday. However, both Ayan and he have decided to push the action scenes for the latter half of the schedule.” The physiotherapist of the Football Club in which Ranbir plays has advised some exercises and cold packs to help the star in healing quicker. 

Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir got a warm welcome at Manali when they reached. With flowers and Himachali topi, Alia and Ranbir were welcomed at their place of stay. The stars will continue to shoot for the next 15 days in Manali for important scenes which are crucial to the story of Shiva and Isha. The film will also have a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. The film is slated to release in summer of 2020.
