When we speak about controversies, the Ranaut sisters Kangana and Rangoli always raise their voice against injustice. The two are often found engaging in a battle of words with other B-Town celebrities. While Kangana never shies away from voicing her opinion publicly during interviews, Rangoli also makes sure to put across her perspective Twitter. Rangoli is as fearless as Kangana and never bows down to unfairness.

Seems like Karan Johar is back on Rangoli's hitlist. In a Twitter discussion over Lord Rama and the epic tale of Ramayana, Rangoli slammed books and films which glorify the Mughal period and not Lord Rama and his greatness. She also commented on his upcoming film Takht which narrates the tale of the Mughal era and shows the story of Shahjahan’s son Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh.

Rangoli wrote in her tweet, "And now not surprisingly our dear Karan Johar is making a film on this cruel bloodline, he will depict Aurangzeb cruelty through his abs and sexual relationships".

Further she wrote," These dumb filmmakers need to be stopped from sexual depiction of historic characters, before they start their crying drama and claim that democracy is dead and bring international shame to the nation, I request authorities to ask them to submit their scripts."

This is not the first time that Rangoli has expressed her aversion for the director. She had earlier too called out Karan Johar for fawning over Salman Khan. Takht helmed by Karan Johar encompasses an ensemble starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. It is a historical period drama based on the Mughal era and is slated to hit the cinema screens in 2020.
