With the premise of the film focused on the hard work of a police officer, Mardaani 2 will see Rani once again stepping into the shoes of the brave female police officer.

Promotions of the film kicked off this week and Rani decided to promote the film by meeting the Indian Police officers and their families. The Mardaani 2 star mentioned that it is to celebrate the act of bravery and valour of the police officers. Rani even mentioned that she will be doing various activities with the cops and their families to honour their sacrifice for the nation.

Rani said, “Mardaani 2 celebrates the bravery of our country’s super efficient police force who risk their lives to save us. For promotions, I will be travelling to various states. This will give me the opportunity to meet these incredibly courageous police officers of these states and celebrate their valour. From meeting super cops, interacting with the traffic police officers, meeting night patrol teams, and visiting training centres for women cops, to going to the control room to learn how our police officials maintain 24x7 vigil to protect us day and night from any and every possible harm, I will be doing various activities with the police force of India to salute their tireless work and their sacrifices to keep India safe.”

The trailer got an overwhelming response from all fans who were hooked to Rani’s character of a female cop fighting crime against women. The film has been shot in Kota, Rajasthan and is a sequel to the 2014 film Mardaani in which Rani as a cop fought the human trafficking gang.
