Ranveer Singh is a bonafide star and well, he can give you umpteen number of reasons to fall in love with him. He has played a rapper, a ruthless king, a Maratha warrior, a carefree guy and he has played all the roles with conviction. He can legit pull off the toughest roles with a blink of his eye. As we all know, Ranveer Singh has a singer in him, he created a stir online once again and this time he sang with Sonu Nigam. 

Their jugalbandi on the singer’s hit 90's song is worth a watch. They attended Radio Mirchi’s Music Awards and enthralled the audiences with their energetic duet. For a music buff, it’s always a delight to listen to Sonu Nigam. Ranveer has added the factor of funk element to it. The actor is currently basking in success of Simmba and Gully Boy. Ranveer and Karan Johar are collaborating once again for Takht. The film boasts of an ensemble star cast including some big names from the industry like Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. Ranveer also has Kabir Khan’s 83 in his kitty. Ranveer will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev in the film. The movie is based on former Indian cricketer, Kapil Dev, and the Indian victory in the 1983 World Cup under his captaincy. Talking about the film, Ranveer had said, “It is an important part of our sports history and history as a nation, our first world cup win and it had put us on top of the world, stamped our presence on the map.” 

He had also added that he always wanted to be part of a film where the take away would be that sense of national pride. There is a whole generation that needs to know and he is happy to be fronting it. 

On the personal front, Ranveer is enjoying his new phase of marriage with wife Deepika Padukone. They got married in Italy and their marriage was no less than a grand affair.
