Ranveer Singh starrer 83' is all set to give you a tour of the 1983 Cricket World Cup where Ranveer plays the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, the man who made the win possible. The film pays a tribute to the cricket stalwart who smashed 16 boundaries and 6 sixes during his knock and changed the game, taking the score to 266 for 8 in 60 overs. The film is in its full swing with director Kabir Khan helming the shoot at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in England.

Today, the shoot commences at the legendary cricket ground as Ranveer Singh, Kabir Khan and Boman Irani come together. Ranveer recently took to Instagram sharing the picture of the trio and the actor seems to be in awe of Boman as he joins the team in England. Calling Boman Iran "A special gem of a person & a universally loved, COLOSSAL talent", Ranveer dedicates the post to him with words full of appreciation. See the pictures

As stated by Mumbai Mirror, actor Boman Irani will be seen playing the role of Farokh Engineer, the former cricketer-commentator, the only Indian commentator during the 1983 World Cup. Marking the first-ever trilingual release for both Ranveer Singh and director Kabir Khan, 83' is slated to release on 10th April, 2020.
