After strutting off his rapping skills in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh has dived straight onto the sets of Kabir Khan’s film ’83, which is based on the life of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. After meeting wifey Deepika Padukone in Delhi where she is currently stationed to shoot for Chhapaak, Ranveer jetted off to Dharamshala with this World Cup squad to kick-start the shooting of Kabir Khan’s film.

And before we could browse through social media to locate pictures from the sets of the film, Ranveer Singh took to social media to share a picture with his entire squad. In the picture, we can se Ranveer Singh & Team splashing some water in the swimming pool while posing for the camera the caption read, “KAPILS DEVILS DESCEND ON DHARAMSHALA!!! it’s on!!! @83thefilm @kabirkhankk.” In the picture, Ranveer is seen wearing blue joggers paired with white sweatshirt and white cat-eyed sunglasses. Apart from Ranveer, '83 also features R Badree, Harrdy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Bhasin, Ammy Virk and Saahil Khattar as the World Cup squad.

While the film will go on floors on May 15, 2019, the cast of ’83 is headed to Dharamshala to continue with their cricket training and bond well because like they say, it is very important for the teammates to share a good bonding and camaraderie. While the first schedule of the film will go on for 100 days in London and Scotland, the shooting will commence from May 15.
