Ranveer Singh is currently one of the most popular and talented actors of the Bollywood film industry. Ranveer, who began his acting career with the movie Band Bajaa Baraat, has been able to establish himself as a successful actor in the film industry within a very short span of time. Over the past few years, the Gully Boy actor has experimented with a variety of roles in all his movies. The Padmaavat actor is also known for his unique fashion sense and jovial nature. 

Ranveer is currently gearing up for two of his upcoming movies, '83 and Takht. The actor recently opened up about getting a chance to feature in the multi - starrer movie Takht. He also spoke about his collaboration with the movie's producer Karan Johar. In a recent interview with Femina, Ranveer has said, "I have always wanted to collaborate with Karan Johar and he offered me a brilliant part in a killer story. Along with Ranveer Singh, the movie Takht also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles. The movie, which has been helmed by Karan Johar, is scheduled to be released next year. 

Talking about '83, Ranveer Singh's wife Deepika Padukone will also be his co - star in the upcoming movie which has definitely excited his fans. For the unversed, Ranveer Singh will be portraying the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in the movie '83 .

I'd love for him to abandon this Takht, but if it actually becomes a hit, it'll be because of the acting talent involved. I like Vicky, Ranveer, and Kareena and they have decent script sense, so maybe there's hope if Karan doesn't get in the way.
