Once a Ranveer Singh fan, always a Ranveer Singh fan and we say this because this Gully Boy actor has won millions of hearts with his performances- from Gully Boy to Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani to Band Baaja Baaraat and others, Ranveer Singh’s filmography  has everyone become a fan of this actor. And on the actor’s birthday (July 6), Ranveer Ka Fan Club, a fan club that has been active since 2015 celebrated the actor’s birthday by bringing light to a small village called Akoli, where they installed five solar street lights and house lights each. That’s right!

Ranveer Ka Fan Club, formed by Amir Ali from Indore, do voluntary work in the name of their favourite actor and every year, on the actor’s birthday, they do some voluntary work and recently they started a program called Ranveer Gram Program. According to a report in DNA, the villagers of Akoli were using kerosene lamps for more than a decade and could not afford electricity and it was clearly difficult to live in such condtions and therefore, the fan club decided to bring light to the village. “It was extremely difficult for children from these families to study in such poor light conditions. We felt that Ranveer sir has taught us to be happy and spread smiles and now it’s our duty to spread cheer and happiness everywhere,” said Amir Ali, founder of the fan club.

After the fan club successfully lit up the village, a video was released by the group in which a village lady is seen saying, “My name is Asha Trimbak Ahede. We have been living in the jungle since the last 17 years and we don’t have any electricity source. We lived in the dark before you guys gave us light. Thank you for giving us light.” On the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy and currently, the actor is shooting in London for Kabir Khan’s 83 based on the life of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.
