Richa Chadha wishes beau Ali Fazal as he bags 'Death On The Nile' opposite Gal Gadot; calls him a 'rockstar'

Actor Ali Fazal left many Indians screaming with joy yesterday. Not just his fans, but a section of the film industry as well were elated when the actor shared his big news. After starring in the 2017 Oscar nominated Victoria and Abdul opposite Judi Dench, the 'Fukrey' star is now all set to team up with the stunning Gal Gadot aka Wonder Woman for Death on the Nile. The film which is an adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel of the same title, is a follow-up to 2017's Murder on the Orient Express.

Congratulatory messages were in order for Ali Fazal who shared them on Twitter as well. From actors to directors to film critics, all were praise for the actor's next big Hollywood film. Girlfriend Richa Chadha was also equally proud of her beau as she tweeted a lovely message for Fazal. 

Taking to Twitter,  Richa wrote, "BOOM! Congratulations @alifazal9 , you’ve worked hard for this, you deserve it! Thank you for the representation this would bring to the entire Indian subcontinent! All the best! You’re a rockstar ! Mwah," along with multiple heart emojis. Actress Nimrat Kaur, who herself stars in a US thriller series, tweeted, "Whattttt ???!!! I mean  this is just bloody amazing @alifazal9 !!!! Thrilled to bits to the moon and back and forth and around the earth and more for ya." 

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the film's plot revolves around master detective Hercule Poirot, who is on vacation in Egypt and becomes involved in a love triangle gone murderously bad. Fazal will join an A-list cast that will see the return of Branagh as Poirot, as well as Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer and Letitia Wright.
