It has been eight years since iconic Bollywood actor Shammi Kapoor left for his heavenly abode. The handsome actor, who was also known as the Indian Elvis Presley, had left a deep impact on the Bollywood film industry. The eternal romantic hero is well - known for his amazing movies like Junglee, Kashmir Ki Kali, Andaz and many others. His ebullient 'yahoo' still resonates among the music lovers even after decades. 

Recently, Shammi Ji's nephew Rishi Kapoor took to his Instagram handle and paid his tribute to the late actor. The Kapoor & Sons actor has shared a picture of Late Shammi Kapoor on his post. Rishi Kapoor writes, "Remembering Shammi Kapoor. Left us 14th August 2011. Never a star like him!" We definitely agree with this particular point of Rishi Kapoor. There is definitely no other star like the legendary actor!

Shammi Kapoor was born on October 21, 1931 in Mumbai and was the second son of yet another legendary actor Prithviraj Kapoor. The charismatic actor made his debut with the movie Jeevan Jyoti in the year 1953. Post that, there was no looking back for him as he started giving back - to - back hit movies like Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Dil Deke Dekho, Andaz and many others. On the later part of his career, Shammi Kapoor came to be known as the handsome green - eyed romantic hero who danced like a dream.
