Rohit Shetty’s love for cars is something every cinebuffs is well aware of. After all, his movies are incomplete without the usage of high-end cars. Interestingly, Rohit’s love for cars isn’t just limited to the big screen. In fact, the ace filmmaker also owns a decent collection of cars in his real-life which include Ford Mustang, Range Rover Sport, and a Maserati GranTurismo Sport. And now, Rohit has made a new addition to his collection as he became a proud owner of a Lamborghini Urus.

Interestingly, Rohit’s new ride is a bright yellow in colour and came at a whopping price of Rs. 3 crores. The big news was revealed after Lamborghini Mumbai shared a picture of the filmmaker posing happily with his swanky ride. Dressed in a navy blue shirt and denim, Rohit looked dapper in the picture. “An extraordinary car for an extraordinary personality. Lamborghini Mumbai delivers Urus to one of India’s most successful filmmakers – @itsrohitshetty. The imposing design and versatile performance of Urus truly reflects his personality. With its distinctive silhouette with a dynamic flying coupé line, Urus is the perfect masterpiece he needed,” read the caption.

Interestingly, Rohit had also got candid about the use of cars in his movies and had told that the cars which survive the explosion scenes in the movies are kept safely in his basement and are sometimes reused in other films. “Of course, if a car has crashed [in the film], then we can’t do anything. But we try to keep the rest of the cars. We sometimes use these again in the next films, but otherwise, they just stay in the basement. It’s becoming like a museum. Sometimes I take them out for a spin,” he stated.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rohit is working on Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. The movie happens to be an expansion of his super cop world and will also have Bajirao Singham aka Ajay Devgn and Bhalerao Sangram aka Ranveer Singh doing a cameo in it.
