After the raging success of the first song Panghat, Roohi's second song, Kiston is finally here and it features Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. The soulful love ballad gives us a glimpse of Janhvi and Rajkummar's love story and how it develops under spooky circumstances. The song Kiston is composed by Sachin-Jigar and lyrics of the soulful track are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The melodious voice of Jubin Nautiyal is heard crooning the meaningful lyrics. The sweet ode to love featuring Rajkummar and Janhvi is bound to win your hearts.

The song opens with Rajkummar holding a cauliflower out to Janhvi while going down on his knees and the tone of the track is set. What comes next are a few minutes of sweet and endearing moments where Raj's character is completely smitten by Janhvi but is scared to let her know. We get to see him taking photos of Janhvi sneakily or admiring her innocence while she's asleep. The sweet moments clubbed with the melody tug at your heartstrings and leave you in awe.

"Kiston is an innocent love song. Especially in the pacy dancey sonic that our music albums range this should be a refreshing change. We are hoping that simple tunes like Kiston find someplace in listener’s hearts and give them a sense of unadulterated romance.  Somehow the humble middle-class insecure mentality of an ashique always has its own charm. Here's hoping waltz can do its magic yet again," says music director duo Sachin-Jigar.

Take a look at the song:

Roohi revolves around the story of a ghost that abducts brides on their honeymoon. The trailer received an overwhelming response from the audience and Janhvi's spooky avatar along with Varun and Rajkummar's comic punches managed to impress everyone. It is directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and Dinesh Vijan. It is all set to release on March 11, 2021.
