Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. While the movie will feature Salman reprising the role of our favourite cop Chulbul Pandey, the movie is said to be with thrice the action than its previous installments. Recently, Dabangg 3 got mired in a controversy over its title track ‘Hud Hud Dabangg’. It was reported that Hindu Janajagruti Samiti raised an objection on the song alleging that it shows sadhus dance in an inappropriate way with Salman to match his steps.

The song also sparked the controversy after Salman was seen seeking blessings from three men disguised as Brahma-Vishnu- Mahesh which seems derogatory to the religion. However, contrary to the allegations, Salman asserted that there is nothing controversial about the song or the movie. During the launch of the song Munna Badnaam from Dabangg 3, the superstar stated that ‘Hud Hud Dabangg’ belongs to the Dabangg team from time immemorial. He also asserted that the controversy was created in order to make an attempt in hogging the limelight associate the name with the movie.

To recall, choreographer of the song Shabina Khan had also cleared the air about the controversy and stated that the sadhus in the song were dancers dressed as sadhus. She also stated that there isn’t anything objectionable about the song as actors have dressed up as sadhus earlier as well. “I think there is nothing disrespectful in the choreography of the song Hud Hud Dabangg. If people scrutinise each and every move like this then how will we make movies?” Shabina added.
