Some times, an actor in Bollywood might have been a part of big films in the initial stages of their career, but might have gone unnoticed. But once they achieve something big in Bollywood, everyone can recognise them from their past work and movies as well. Speaking of this, 2018’s breakout web series star was Kubbra Sait who was seen in the web show Sacred Games. However, little did fans know that she was a part of Salman Khan’s 2011 comedy film Ready. Yes, Kubbra was a part of Salman Khan’s film Ready.

At a recent event, Kubbra shared her bizarre yet funny story of the audition for Salman’s Ready. She mentioned that she came to Mumbai and got to know that Anees Bazmee’s team was holding an audition. She decided to make a dash but ended up waiting for 5 hours. She was dressed in a salwar kameez when someone told her to change into a western dress as the part was for an attractive maid. She complied and Anees Bazmee saw her and selected her for the part. Later, when Salman got to know about the story, he laughed and joked with her. Kubbra revealed that Salman said like she was “Ready-maid” for the role. 

“Now, he (Salman Khan) jokes about it, saying you were Ready-maid for the role”, saidKubbra at the event. Well, now, we all know that Kubbra was in Ready and we can easily spot her in the role of the house maid.

Meanwhile, talking about Salman Khan, he will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat starring Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Sunil Grover. The film’s shooting recently wrapped up post which Salman and Katrina shared photos with each other. Bharat is based on South Korean film An Ode to My father and is slated to release on Eid 2019.
