Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's wedding was a star-studded affair. A long list of celebrities walked down the carpet to congratulate the new couple on March 9, in Mumbai. The ceremony took place at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex. Akash proposed to Shloka and got engaged in a lavish ceremony last year in June. Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bacchhan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, Google CEO Sundar Picchai, Uddhav Thackeray, Aaditya Thackeray and many more attended the wedding. British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Superstar Rajnikanth were also present for the wedding. 

Bollywood celebrities were the 'Baraatis' for the wedding. While cricketers, renowned business personalities, politicians were in attendance, Maroon 5 performed at the post-wedding ceremony. Salman Khan who arrived late at the evening was greeted by an excited Ranveer Singh. The Gully Boy star was elated to meet Salman and greeted him with his arms wide open. Salman Khan was dressed in black shirt and black pants, while Ranveer wore a traditional black outfit. Ranveer is known for his energy and warmth and showcased the same as he met Salman Khan. Salman Khan will be seen in 'Bharat' opposite Katrina Kaif which will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Ranveer Singh who is riding high on the success of Simba and Gully Boy is shooting for '83.
