Is Salman Khan's 'hero' Shah Rukh Khan post for saving Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's manager from a fire at Diwali?
It's been decades as the three Khan of Bollywood - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan - have been entertaining us as on-screen heroes to love and admire. But what happens when a real-life situation demands a hero out of them? Well, SRK proved to a be real-life hero as well, as per reports in Mid-Day which revealed that the superstar helped in aiding Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's manager as her clothes caught on fire at the Bachchan Diwali bash.
A source revealed to the tabloid, "It was just after 3 am and a few guests were still around. Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn't know what to do," and added, "Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire."
Taking to his Instagram account, it seems as though Salman has confirmed the reports as the actor shared a video of SRK from Happy New Year (2014), where his shirt catches fire and evaporates during Manwa Laage.
Salman says in the video, "Hero woh hota hai jo aag mein khud ke, bhuja ke bachata hai."
SRK is the superhero we needed, indeed! Wouldn't you agree with the statement?
While Archana is said to have sustained 15 percent burns, Shah Rukh is also said to have had some minor but not severe injuries.
