Actor Sandeep Nahar allegedly died by suicide last evening, sending shock waves through the industry. The young actor had shared a long post along with a disturbing video on his Facebook page as his last message. Sandeep, who worked in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, followed it up with the Akshay Kumar-led Kesari. Sandeep's co-actors in the Dhoni biopic, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, and now Bhumika Chawla, have reacted to the late star’s unfortunate demise.

In a conversation with ETimes, Bhumika opened up about her thoughts on the tragic incident. Nahar seemed distraught in the video he posted and even hinted at ending his life. Commenting on the normality of rising mental health concerns, the actress said, "Depression and suicides have become common; it is so unfortunate." The Tere Naam actress played Sushant Singh Rajput's sister in the film and added that she didn't have a lot of scenes with Nahar. Bhumika also revealed that she only found out about the actor’s untimely death this morning.

Anupam Kher, who played Sushant's father in the same film had also told ETimes that he too had limited scenes with Nahar and had learned about his death only a few hours ago. "But I immediately connected with his presence in 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'. Sandeep was a happy-go-lucky guy. I had about 2-3 scenes with him. He had more scenes with other actors in the film but he was undoubtedly a good actor," Anupam Kher added.
