Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju has been in news ever since it has been announced. It chronicles the life of Sanjay Dutt - his ups and downs, his battle with drugs and his time in jail. Sanjay Dutt's life would be on the big screen for all the viewers to see on June 29.

According to a report in DNA, an activist Prithvi Mhaske has raised an objection on the 'toilet leakage scene in the barrack of jail picturised in the movie.' He has addressed his letter to Prasoon Joshi, Chairman (CBFC) and the makers of the film and Ranbir Kapoor.
The letter reads as, ""In the trailer of the movie we have seen a scene that Sanjay Dutt was in such a barrack of a jail in which the toilet overflowed. As per the information available, the government and jail authorities are taking a very well care of all the barracks of the jails. We never heard any such incidents anywhere. Earlier as well many movies were released based on the gangsters where in the jails were covered but never had seen such incidents. (sic)"
"This particular scene will make a bad impression about the jails and jails authorities of the Indians (sic)," it added.
"If there is no action about the same by you then we are left with no option to approach honourable court to put stay on the release of the movie (sic)," it concluded.
Not only the critics and the audience, but Sanjay himself is a fan of Ranbir's portrayal.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Sanjay could not stop praising Ranbir. "There is no advice for Ranbir Kapoor. He is doing a fantastic job. Whatever I have seen on the sets of the movie, it is really great. I just wish him all the best and I am looking forward to watch the movie," he said.

hahaha bad impression of jails ........... bhai jail ka bad hi impression hona chiye tab jaake criminals ko dar lagega koi 5 star hote todi hai jo acha impression set kana hai bewakoof activisit

Since the movie has not got any attention from the audiences so this paid controversy may be....

I am sure raju hirani and vinod chopra have done proper research before giving out stories on film. They said tgey had talked to police..lawyers..jailors..courtscribes...journalists etc...sanju's friends family and co actors.

Even other celebs who have seen the inside of a jail have mentioned that some jails were in terrible condition back in 1990 and early jodhpur and arthur road. Maybe the conditions have gotten better now.

This activist seems to have been paid to cause bad press.

Has this activist ever been to jail? Ever been subjected to the humiliation an inmate faces at the hands of the staff and other inmates?

This is Sanjay dutt's Parody

And exactly what does tgat have to do with the topic in question? I can never understand why PV posts such off topic comments from haters on posts. Whoever has made the above post has consistently been posting the same comment on every sanju movie topic for no reason whatsoever. If this movie turns out not to be a my friend will have to go to every such comment and write..I was wrong. Manzoor?

Maybe all this was in sunjay mind...he was a drug addict and usually they have vivid hallucinations...

Oh my god! People will have such a terrible impression of jails and jailors because of a scene in a movie!! This activist is an idiot. Did he object to all the movies where they show jailors beating and torturing inmates? I suppose those scenes are ok - but not a toilet overflowing. Unbelievable!
