Sara Ali Khan’s mother Amrita Singh and her aunt Tahira Bimbat were in the headlines for a property dispute. They staked claim over four acres of prime property in Clement Town area of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. According to reports, Amrita and her cousin sister Tahira approached the court to dismiss a plea by Tahira’s brother Madhusudhan over a 1,70,000 sq.ft property situated in Dehradun that is worth crores. 

 

After Madhusudhan passed away, Tahira reportedly requested the civil judge, Ramesh Singh to dismiss her brother’s case. A while back, Amrita and Sara lodged a police complaint stating that the property should be protected from land mafia. Madhusudhan who was not married was staying at the property. Both Tahira and Amrita had approached the Clementown Police Station in Dehradun last month to claim rights over the said disputed the property. 

 

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, they have won the legal battle as there was no one to challenge the decision to dismiss the case. Now, the next step is to approach the district magistrate court to complete the formalities of transferring the property to Tahira and Amrita’s name. What do you have to say about this?
